Muhammad Yoonus

Muhammed Raihan Yoonus is an 18-year-old drifter from Dubai, UAE who has quickly begun making a name for himself in the region’s competitive drifting scene. His passion for cars started incredibly early, sparked by watching the movie Cars as a kid. From there, his interest grew into a deep fascination with performance cars, drifting, and the culture around them.

His biggest highlights so far include competing in the Emirates Drift Championship where he finished 2nd overall in the Street category while also securing 1st place in the Juniors Championship.

Raihan currently competes in a 2014 Nissan 370Z. The car runs a mostly stock internal engine with an EcuTek tune, supported by key upgrades including an FDF angle kit, D2 Racing coilovers, and a 6-point roll cage. The setup produces around 330 wheel horsepower.

What is your favourite track or circuit to drive and why?

One of his favourite tracks he has driven is Jebel Ali Kart Track. The narrow layout and unpredictable corners make it both challenging and exciting, helping drivers refine control and reaction time.

A track high on his bucket list is Bikernieki Circuit in Latvia, known for its high-speed initiations and iconic drifting layout.

What hobbies do you have outside of racing?

Outside of drifting, Raihan enjoys creating automotive content on social media, working on his street car, and spending time on the simulator to continue improving his driving.

Alhamdulillah, Raihan says he is already lucky enough to own his dream street car, a Nissan Silvia S15 Spec S.
